No Night Curfew to be Imposed In Delhi, HC

State government informed that no night curfew would be imposed in Delhi, restriction is not a solution of covid-19 pandemic


The Delhi Government stated to the Delhi high court that it has decided not to impose night curfew in National Capital as of now, after assessing the present Covid-19 situation in the Capital, on Thursday.On November 26, a bench of justice comprising Hima Kohli and Subramonium Prasad asked the state government to submit its response on imposing night curfew without any delay in Delhi. But the state government at that time told the high court and refused to impose night curfew but it was under “active consideration”.

However, On Thursday, after one week the high court finalized the decision on, not imposing a night curfew  in the National Capital, According to reports “Therefore, no new activity has been permitted/ allowed till December 31,” Delhi is free from night curfew.

In a couple of days, Moreover, the number of daily corona infections in Delhi came below 4,000 as it recorded 3,944 fresh Covid-19 patients who suffered due to infections on Wednesday.
