No Visitors Allowed To Durga Puja Pandal This Year

For the first time the devotees will offer their prayers online to Goddess Durga

For the first time in years, people will be going to devote their prayers and love to Goddess Durga online. In a meeting held on Monday in CR Park Kali Mandir convened by Greater  Kailash MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj along with 12 Durga Puja committee includes those in Alaknanda, Kalkaji, and Greater Kailash have decided to have a small Kalash puja  with only committee members.

The members of the committee only are allowed at the pandal that follow all the guidelines assigned to them. CR Park has the most population of senior citizens. The committee has decided that this time it’s good to stay indoors and not to interact with other people to avoid the risk of COVID-19.

CR Park is the home of nine Durga Puja pandals every year and one small pandal inside the Kali Mandir.

The secretary of the CR Park Durga puja committee said, “We don’t open the pandal for the visitors this year because if we open it might become difficult to control the crowd and it increases the risk for COVID19 in the society. Which is very risky for the members living there and for the visitors as well? ”

It is very hard to control the crowd of millions of people and to watch that each and everyone is following the guidelines properly. COVID19 is spreading very badly in every part of the country.

So we have decided to have virtual puja for the visitors so that they could have blessings of Goddess Durga and can enjoy the festival with their loved ones with safety measures by staying at home and protecting everyone.
