Noida authority closes nine oxygen counters as Covid-19 cases decline, Gautam Buddh Nagar recorded 17 new Covid-19 cases on Monday.


Covid-19 cases are now declining in the Country, whereas the second wave of Covid-19 has harshly hit people where the oxygen crisis was at its peak. Meanwhile, nine oxygen counters in Uttar Pradesh's Noida have been closed due to the decrease in Covid-19 cases. Amid the declining cases of Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh Gautam Buddh Nagar, the Noida authority has decided to close nine oxygen counters.

According to Mukesh Vaish, Project Engineer said that "As the demand for oxygen has come down to a large extent for the past many days at all centres, the authority has decided to provide medical oxygen service from the sector 93B community centre from Monday. It said that those who need the oxygen can avail the service from there."

As per the report, the authority provided 1,859 oxygen cylinders and 93 oxygen concentrators from its 10 facilities between 3rd May and 19 June. Meanwhile, the Noida residents took advantage of the service by depositing security fees of rupees 2,500 along with refiling fees of rupees 200.

Meanwhile, Gautam Buddh Nagar recorded 17 new Covid-19 cases on Monday.
