Noida Becomes India's Cleanest Medium City

Gets Five Star Rating!


The Noida City becomes India's Cleanest Medium city (population of 3-10 lakh) in Swachh Survekshan 2021, an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in India.


According to the statement, given by Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Noida Authority, Noida Deserves to rank 1 in the list of cleanest cities, and I hope all the NGOs will work even harder to make it happen.

The city received a 5-star garbage-free city, which is a higher achievement from having received a 3-star garbage-free city rating in 2020. Also, the door-to-door waste collection, street sweeping and drain cleaning, sanitizing villagers on solid waste management practices, and eliminating all 55 garbage vulnerable points.
