Not fully vaccinated will be deprived of govt schemes: Rajasthan Health Minister

Concern over the rising cases of Omicron and Covid-19


On Thursday, the Rajasthan Health Minister, Prasadi Lal Meena said those who are not fully vaccinated will be deprived of the government schemes.

 

The rising cases of Covid-19 and covid-19 led omicron are creating concern. The state government and ministers are taking their decision to inoculate the population completely with both doses of Covid vaccination.

 

According to the statement given by Rajasthan Health Minister, said" we will ensure that those people who didn't take both doses of Covid vaccine are deprived of government schemes. He said," The omicron variant of Coronavirus is not as fatal but it spreads very rapidly. We have been taking precautions. The situation is not bad (in Rajasthan) but it is in Jaipur."

 

According to an official order it mentions, Rajasthan residents must get both doses of Coronavirus vaccine for entry in school, college, cinema halls, and markets. Further, the information also mentions that the unvaccinated will not be permitted to visit public places after January 31, 2022. 

 

The state government has mandated vaccination in the state also, a "Jan anushasan curfew" will be implemented in the state from 11 pm to 5 am. According to the data, Rajasthan reported 23 fresh cases of Covid-19 led omicron on Wednesday in the state which took the overall tally to 69 in the state. 

 

The covid-19 scenario is worsening day after another. With the arrival of the New Year, the state government has issued new guidelines concerning public health and safety.
