Das admitted after a bullet injury...

On 30 January 2023, Naba Kishore Das took his last breath in Bhubaneshwar hospital at Apollo hospital. Das got admitted because of his bullet injury that was shot by an assistant sub-inspector Gopal Das at Gandhi Chowk near Brajarajnagar in Jharsuguda district on Sunday at nearly 1 pm. He was shot in the chest with two rounds of the bullet just after he came out of the vehicle to attend a programme.

As per the information Das was airlifted after the basic medical treatment at a nearby hospital to Bhubaneshwar.

President Draupadi Murmu posted on Twitter that the death of Shri Naba Kishore Das ji is a shocking and disturbing news and it is a dastardly act of violence. Further, she added her wishes and condolences to his family.

Following the death of Odisha’s health minister Prime Minister Narendra Modi also sent condolences and shared the news on his Twitter account that he was saddened by the unfortunate demise of the minister in the Odisha government, Om Shanti. He also shared his concern with his family in his tweet.
