Odisha schools to reopen for classes 6 and 7

The schools will be reopen from November 15


 On Monday, the Odisha Government announced that the schools for classes 6 and 7 will be reopened in the state from November 15 with appropriate Covid-19 guidelines and SOPs.

According to the school and mass education department, it said the teaching hours for the students of classes 6 and 7 will be from 9:30 to 1:00. Also, there is no stiffness related to online or offline classes. The classes are feasible as per the comfort of the students.  The students can opt for any of the options related to their parent's consent.


The classes for the students of the college for the undergraduate first year from November 1 and the physical classes for class 10 and 12 students were reopened on July 26.


The school and colleges across the country have been reopened. The Covid-19 pandemic had led education to run in an online mode. The states and education ministers are making decisions regarding the reopening of schools and colleges in their respective states and also implementing proper Covid-19 guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to be followed in the educational premises. Many other states such as Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Jharkhand and many other states have reopened their schools with 50%  capacity and also some are reopened with 100% capacity.
