Ola to launch an electric scooter in India on August 15. Ola reservations received more than one lakh bookings in just 24 hours

Ola, well famous for its cab services, is going to launch its very first electric scooter in India on 15th August. As per the information,  Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO and Co-founder announced that the upcoming details will be shared on the launch day. He revealed the image of an ola scooter which hints about the possible design of the electric vehicle and it might come with a colour option. Whereas the reservation for the scooters has been started at a price of rupees 499. As per the tweet, he said, "planning a launch event for the ola scooter on 15th august. Will share full specifications and details on product and availability dates. Looking forward to it." said the CEO.

Meanwhile, ola electric scooters will be available in ten different colours including pink colour, with matte and gloss finish options available in blue and black colours, vibrant shades available in red, yellow, white and silver colours. According to the statement of the company, ola reservations received more than one lakh bookings in just 24 hours. Ola scooters have announced that it aims to build the largest two-wheeler charging network in more than 400 cities, it also looks forward to install 1,00,000 charging points which will also offer 75km in just 18 minutes.
