Protesting Farmers Celebrate Gurupurab


To celebrate the birth anniversary of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev ji the ‘Delhi Chalo’ protesting farmers offered prayers at the Tikri border and Singhu border this morning. The protest against the three new enacted agro farm laws by the central government had officially entered  day five on Monday. The farmers at the borders were seen reciting gurbani and distributing the holy prashad to all people and security personnel at various protest sites.

On the other side the security at the Singhu border was tightened to ensure the peace and harmony prevails at the protesting sites while the protest continues.The central’s request to the farmers to lift the border blockades and go back to the allocated site at Burari was straight away rejected by the farmers. Till further instructions from their leaders the farmers will remain at their assigned places and will not move.
