This festive season oppo launches a pop up camera TV


With the advancement of technology, the ones old in the game have to maintain their forefront and have to up their game to maintain their spot in the top. As this festive season the top smartphone brands OnePlus and Realme launched their smart TV’s, Oppo did not shy off and went ahead and excluding itself from the others launched a smart television. It has the best features till date.  

This television has made a new revolution in the gaming field for now gamers had to settle down for a 60Hz refresh rate as they wanted a bigger display. The TV is offering a 120Hz panel that makes it twice as smooth as compared to a regular 60Hz panel. The refresh rate it is providing is amazing.

For now two models have been launched in the market and have only been launched in China. There are no further details of expansion. The first one is S1 and second is R1, 120Hz and 60Hz panels but the second one comes in two sizes. CNY 7,999 that would be INR 87,800 and CNY 3,299 roughly INR 36,200 respectively of both.

The S1 smart TV is providing a single 65-inch QLED Quantum Dot panel with 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.There is HDR and Dolby Vision on the display. Oppo claims the display can offer brightness of 1,500 nits, which sounds impressive on paper for the panel. There is TUV Rheinland certification for eye-protection, as well. Oppo has allowed this panel to extend forward as much as 1.86mm to offer a 3D-like viewing experience. The company calls it the floating design of the TV.

The Oppo Smart TV R1 comes in two sizes - 65-inch and 55-inch - both having 60Hz LCDs with 4K resolution. Both TVs are powered by MediaTek chipsets, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, have 1080p pop-up camera, and Dolby Audio support on speakers that give a maximum output of 20W.

Many promises have been made by Oppo related to this television and it intends to revolutionise the television tech world.
