Foreign Ministry indicts Pak official


The Foreign Ministry of India has summoned the Charge d'Affaires of the Pakistan High Commission in view of Thursday's  encounter , on Jammu and Kashmir highway, which killed four alleged terrorists of having links with Jaish-e-Mohammed. The Foreign Ministry has raised the issue with the Pakistani official and demanded that Pakistan should stop supporting terror related activities, confirmed highly placed sources. The source further added that the foreign ministry has demanded that Pakistan in keeping with its bilateral commitments make sure that such activities are not planned from its territory. 

Meanwhile a high level meeting was held on Friday where Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval assessed the  ground situation.  "Our security forces have once again displayed utmost bravery and professionalism. Thanks to their alertness, they have defeated a nefarious plot to target grassroots level democratic exercises in Jammu and Kashmir," PM Modi tweeted.

It has also been reported that the alleged terrorists were planning another 26/11 kind of an attack on the anniversary of the Pulwama attack.
