ParleG’s stand against the TRP fraud, calls out from the toxic newsletter

In amid of TRP fraud news against news channels, ParleG refuses to join hands with the news channel for advertisements who provide toxic content


Mumbai Police going on record has said that it has unleashed the racket of TRP scam involving Republic TV along with two more news channels who were manipulating TRPs.

Amid all this ParleG’s senior category head Krishnarao Buddha of Parle Product, came out in support of not promoting toxic content news channels by boycotting any advertisement of their product on the particular news channel.

In addition, as it becomes a new trend in handy of refusing toxicity ParleG gets a great support on Twitter, as after all it became one of the firsts to take a brave stand against promotion of “toxic content” where majorly Republic TV is being accused.

In his own words he said to the mass, “We are exploring possibilities wherein other advertisers can come together and sort of put a restraint on their advertising spends on news channels, so that there is some sort of a clear signal to all the news channels, that they better change their content."

As it became most retweeted, people in support said the idea being “Genius” and appreciated the big step taken.
