Landslides, sinkholes, wild winter weather...


US State of California, due to wild winter weather, sinkholes cars swallowed and towns swamped in floodwater even swept away a small boy.

 

Authorities have taken nearly 50,000 residents were under evacuation process, on Tuesday because of heavy rains more than 110,000 homes and businesses were without power, lightning, hail and landslides.

Last month in storm at least 17 people have died, Governor Gavin Newsom said.

 

On Monday, the Storm more than 45 centimetres of rain water dumped in South California mountains and buried Sierra Nevada ski resorts in more than 1.5 metres (five feet) of snow.

 

Rockfalls and landslides shut down roads, and gushing runoff turned sections of freeways into waterways.

 

Homes were swamped by swollen rivers and from small communities residents inundated with water and mud were stranded.

 

With cars submerged up to their roofs Neighbourhoods were under water.

 

Residents have been told to escape from their homes and to take whatever they could or need as they will left in the rain.
