Two died and several injured...
On 23 January 2023, a bus fell off from a bridge on NH-55 in a canal near Panchubati in Dhenkanal District of Odisha in morning hours that nearly killed two persons and other were injured.
According to the information the bus driver lost control over the bus that was carrying more than 40 persons towards Ichhapur in kendrapara from Dhenkanal District result in death of two females on the spot identified as Renubala Jena and Bijayalaxmi Swain from Kendrapara and others are immediately taken to the local hospital.
As per the information shared by the hospital staff the 15 people who got seriously injured were shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after the basic treatment as their condition got worse.
The picnickers were returning after the picnic at Harishankar in Balangir district.
