PM Modi changes his Twitter photo to mark "Historic Moment "

Historic moment is celebrated as India achieves its target of inoculating 100 crore vaccine jabs.

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi changed his Twitter profile picture to mark the historic moment. India touches the target of inoculating 100 crore vaccination doses to the population. The caption on the profile picture of PM  read as" Congratulations India - 100 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses administered ".

While addressing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, India's vaccination programme was science-born, science-based. He said there was no "VIP Culture" in the drive. Adding more he also urged people to follow appropriate Covid-19 behaviour during the festival time and said, "From the development of a vaccine to inoculation, science and science-based approach has been involved in the journey and made this come true".

It's been a difficult phase to overcome the deadly virus as India was trapped badly under the Covid-19.  India also witnessed inappropriate medical and health infrastructure across the country. Also, many lost their lives due to it. Several states are speeding up with their vaccination drive. Meanwhile,  vaccination campaigns and door to door vaccination, vaccine on wheels are the initiatives started by the respective State Government for the people to get inoculated.

The target was achieved on Thursday morning and social media was completely flooded with wishes and gratitude comments. Several leaders congratulated India on this achievement.  Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed his gratitude to health workers, Covid-19 frontline workers and all the people leading to achieve this target.
