PM Modi flags off Vande Bharat Express

On Saturday, 01 April 2023, PM Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train between Bhopal and New Delhi at Rani Kamlapati Railway Station.

Ahead in a day, he will also attend the Combined Commanders’ Conference-2023 at the Kushabhau Thakre Hall. This is the eleventh Vande Bharat train to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi.

At 10 am today on Saturday, PM Modi reached Bhopal and was welcomed by MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

"Will be in Bhopal today. In the beginning, he will take part in the Combined Commanders’ Conference and later will flag off the Vande Bharat Express between Bhopal and New Delhi.

This train will improve the connectivity between MP and Delhi," the prime minister said in a tweet ahead of his visit.

PM Modi will arrive in the state capital and take part in the Combined Commanders' Conference at 10 am.

He will then flag off the Vande Bharat Express from Rani Kamalapati railway station here to Delhi around 3.15 pm, sources told the news agency PTI.

"PM Modi will be visiting MP. During his visit to Bhopal on April 1, he will give a gift to the people of the state in the form of Vande Bharat Express.

MP is on wheels and this happened only because of PM Modi's vision," MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in a tweet.
