PM Modi interacts with newly-appointed Education Minister and directors of IITs, IISc
Former Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, Dharmendra Pradhan has now been appointed as Education Minister on Wednesday. Dharmendra Pradhan succeeds Ramesh Pokhriyal, who resigned earlier due to health issues. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today will interact with Dharmendra Pradhan and heads of other technical institutes such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore through a video conference.
Dharmendra Pradhan is known for his hard work in delivering work in order whatever has been assigned to him to do. After he was appointed as the Education Minister he took his Twitter handle in sharing the information on NEET UG 2021 date and its application status for the students. Students also requested the him to share the decision regarding NEET 2021 as possible for them. The Minister has announced the dates related to JEE(Main) in April and May session 2021, which will be divided into two parts first part on July 20-25 and the second sessions on July 27 August 2. The portal jeemain.nta.nic.in has re-opened for the students who could not apply earlier.
