Prime Minister Narendra Modi's program today will be skipped by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

In programme, PM will inaugurate several development projects for the poll-bound state.  The PM will be not received by KCR from the airport on his arrival.

This year’s assembly election in the state KCR's Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BSR) has been at loggerheads with the BJP, which is trying to make political and electoral inroads into Telangana.

Along with KCR is trying to expand his party in other states also.

Last year, KCR renamed his party -- Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) -- to Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS), his first attempt towards making the BJP national party to counter the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. He was also seen putting in efforts to unite the opposition parties for a united fight against BJP in next year's general elections.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stone of development projects which is worth over Rs 11,300 crore in Telangana.

Prime Minister will flag off Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express at Secunderabad Railway Station.

For redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station PM will also lay the foundation stone and inaugurate other development projects related to railways.
