PM Modi Should have talked on some business, rather than Mann ki Baat," Says Jharkhand Chief Minister


On Thursday PM Modi had "Mann ki Baat " with the CM of Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana about the Covid-19 situation. Whereas on the other hand, Jharkhand Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, said that PM Modi should talk about some business, rather than "Mann ki Baat".

Chief Minister, Hemant Soren tweeted that, "Today the respected Prime Minister called, He only spoke his Mann Ki Baat, it would have been better if he would have talked about business and health issues. This tweet was shared by many BJP political leaders, they called this statement disrespectful. According to official sources, it said that the CM was unhappy as he was not allowed to present the issues concerning his state before the PM.

Hemant Soren Digitally inaugurated a 528-bed makeshift Covid hospital at Ranchi's Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences(RIMS). Meanwhile, Jharkhand reported133 Covid-19  fatalities on Thursday, while 6,974 cases pushed the State's infection tally to 2,70,089.
