PM Modi To Campaign In Varanasi On March 4 And 5

Sixth Phase Polling begins today!


Ahead of the last phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Prime minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit poll-bound state Varanasi. 


As per the information, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting on March 4 and 5. He will be campaigning for his party. 

 

According to the information, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) city president Vidhya Sagar Rai said, PM Modi, will hold a roadshow in the poll-bound state also will address a public meeting in Khajuri village in Rajatalab.


As per the sources, PM Modi will begin his roadshow by garlanding the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Maldiha crossing. He will also pay his visit to the Kashi Vishwanath temple to pay his visit and offer prayers ahead of the poll.


Uttar Pradesh was under the seven Phases of Elections and the last phase of polling is scheduled on March 7 whereas the counting of votes will take place on March 10. 


Today the state is going under the sixth phase of polling.  The district where the polling is taking place is Ambedkarnagar, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria, and Ballia.


According to the tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said "The festival of democracy in Uttar Pradesh has entered its sixth phase today. It is my humble request to all the voters that they must participate in this festival with their votes. Every single vote of yours (is) the power of democracy!" he tweeted.
