PM Modi to flag off southern India's Vande Bharat Express from Karnataka

On November 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka and flag off southern India's first Vande Bharat Express. 

According to a statement by the Karnataka CM's office, PM Modi will inaugurate several other projects. The Vande Bharat Express will run between Chennai and Mysuru via Bengaluru.

 

As per the information, PM Modi will inaugurate the second terminal of Kempegowda International Airport, built at a cost of Rs 5,000 crore to handle an additional 2.5 crore flyers.

 

According to the statement, "A special garden has been developed at the airport. It will have the saplings of trees mentioned in the Ramayana and Mahabharata. The airport will recycle water and there will be low consumption of power. A 108-foot tall statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda will be unveiled by the PM followed by a public meeting," the CMO's statement read.

 

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the second terminal of Kempegowda International Airport built at a cost of ?5,000 crore to handle an additional 2.5 crore travelling public, according to an official statement.

 

"A garden that has been created, will have the saplings of the days of Ramayana and Mahabharath; reuse of water and low consumption of power. The 108-foot tall statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda will be unveiled by the PM followed by a public meeting," the statement said.

 

As per the statement given by CM Bommai , he has inspected every detail of the function and directed the authorities concerned that the functions must not cause hardship for the citizens
