PM Will Address Rally in Gujarat!


On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from March 11.

 

As per the information, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a roadshow in Ahmedabad and address a rally of over 100,000 elected representatives of panchayat bodies, state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president CR Patil said on Wednesday.

 

According to the information given by Patil to reporters he said, “Prime Minister Modi will arrive at Ahmedabad airport on March 11 morning. From there till ‘Kamalam’ (the BJP’s state headquarters in Gandhinagar), he will hold a roadshow."

 

The PM will hold different meetings with the elected representatives and party functionaries. He is also expected to meet the whole state cabinet and review the ongoing projects of national importance in the state which will go to the polls later this year. Also, PM is expected to travel to Rashtriya Raksha University in Lavad by road. The state BJP is planning to mobilise thousands of workers along the routes to be taken by the PM.

 

The term of the Gujarat assembly ends on January 8 next year, and the state is expected to go to the polls this December. Besides, elections are also due in Himachal Pradesh alongside Gujarat.

 

The Congress had sprung a surprise by defeating the BJP in three assembly by polls in Himachal Pradesh in October last year. The BJP had also lost the bye-election to the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in the hill-state.
