4 Ministers To Visit Ukraine -Neighbouring Countries!


The Ongoing Conflict between Russia and Ukraine had created a worrying scenario for Indian Nations and students residing in the war zone Country. Many Indians are stuck during this war time.



Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a high-level meeting to discuss the situation and the safety of Indian nationals stranded in the war-hit eastern European nation.



According to the Sources said on Monday Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a high-level meeting on the Ukraine crisis. Some Union Ministers may go to neighboring countries of Ukraine to coordinate the evacuations of Indian nationals and the students.



According to the information, Top ministers including Hardeep Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju, and Gen V K Singh may travel to neighbouring countries of Ukraine to coordinate the evacuation mission and help students, they said.



The announcement on ministers going to Europe to coordinate the evacuation mission came a day after the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) started a dedicated Twitter handle, "OpGanga Helpline" (@opganga), for the purpose of the evacuation of Indian nationals from Ukraine.



According to the statement, The PM said the safe evacuation of students is a priority," sources said on the second such meeting called by PM Modi in two days.



The Ukrainian airspace has been closed for civil aircraft operations since February 24 morning when the Russian military offensive began. Therefore, the Indian evacuation flights are operating out of Bucharest and Budapest.



Visuals of hundreds of Indians stuck at the Ukrainian borders have been emerging on social media.  Around 16,000 students are believed to be stuck in Ukraine, either at the borders or hiding in bunkers, bomb shelters, and hostel basements.
