New Delhi: On Saturday, 15 July 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the UAE after finalising his two-day visit to France.

In France, he held wide-ranging talks with French President Emmanuel Macron. He was conferred with the country's highest civilian and military honour, the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour.

Energy, food security, and defence will be the focus areas during PM Modi's day-long visit during which the two strategic partners will review the progress after they inked a landmark trade agreement.

PM Modi will hold talks with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.

On Friday, PM Modi said, France is a natural partner in India's progress after extensive discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace, praising the host country for a grand reception.

Deepening ties between the two countries, the talks were part of PM Modi's visit to France and covered a large number of topics including long-term visas, university partnerships, and the impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic.
