Overjoyed to hear that PM Modi was awarded with the award; Bhutan’s PM Lotay Tshering
Today on the occasion of the country's National Day, Bhutan conferred its highest civilian award Ngadag Pel gi Khorlo to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On social media, Bhutan Prime Minister Lotay Tshering shared that he was overjoyed to hear "His Majesty pronounce Your Excellency Modi ji's name for the highest civilian decoration, Ngadag Pel gi Khorlo."
"HM highlighted all the unconditional friendship and support Modiji extended over the years and particularly during the pandemic.”

Looking forward to celebrating the honour in person," the PM's Office of Bhutan said in a statement on Facebook. He gave wishes to his countrymen on the National Day of Bhutan.
