PM Narendra Modi To Inaugurate Health Ministry's Post-Budget Webinar

The Ministry will hold three thematic sessions!


On Saturday (Today), Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the post-Union Budget webinar of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare today (February 26, 2022) at 10 am.

 

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the objective of the webinar is to comprise the stakeholders in taking forward the various initiatives of the Government in the health sector.

The Prime Minister’s address will set the tone for the post-Budget webinars,” said the government’s Press and Information Bureau in a statement. “The sessions are planned in a manner to allow ample interaction with stakeholders, to evolve a participative approach for time-bound implementation of announcements.”

 

As per the information, The ministry will hold three thematic sessions today from 10:45 hrs to 13:50 hours on the topics of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, ESanjeevani, and Telemental Health Programme.

 

Union health and Ayush ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Sarbananda Sonowal will chair the valedictory session. VK Paul, member (health), NITI Aayog, will moderate the session on Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission after National Health Authority additional CEO Praveen Gedam’s presentation.

 

Devi Shetty, chairman, Narayana Health; Upasana Arora, Yashoda Hospital; Ameera Shah, MD, Metropolis Lab; Harsh Mahajan, president, NATHEALTH; and Rajeev Vasudevan of AyurVaid Hospitals will be among the speakers.

 

The webinar will have panel meetings with eminent speakers and experts from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, NITI Aayog, Industry fora, startups, academia, etc, along with interactive sessions with the stakeholders.
