PM To Interact With Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Awardees

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Awardees (PMRBP). 


As per the information the interaction will begin at 11:30 am. It also said, "Digital certificate will be conferred on PMRBP awardees for the years 2022 and 2021 using Blockchain technology. This is the very first time that this technology is being used to provide certificates.

 

The award is conferred by President Ram Nath Kovind in a ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. But due to Covid-19, it has been shifted online and the programme will be taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.


This Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Award is given to children above the age of five years and not exceeding above 15 years. It is given under various categories like exceptional abilities, outstanding achievement in sports, arts and culture, social service, scholastic achievements, and bravery.

 

The children are provided with a cash prize of rupees 1,00,000 and a certificate. These awardees will also be permitted to take part in the republic day celebration.


Union women and child development minister Smriti Irani and Minister of State Dr. Munjpara Mahendra hai will also be present during the event. According to the statement, PM Modi said," Your works, even at such a young age, are very surprising.

 

Somebody is glorifying the country in the field of sports, or somebody is doing research and innovation from now on. The practice of enhancing India’s pride will be seen when somebody from you will become a player, scientist, political leader, or CEO in the future.


This year, around 29 children have been selected under different categories for this award.
