India Witnesses Increment in Daily Cases!


The Covid-19 deadly virus is again spreading its wings. The cases are rapidly increasing whereas the fear among the people and the daily commuters Seems horrific in the country. 

 

India witnesses a surge in Covid cases. Whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a Covid review meeting on Wednesday as the country has reported an uptick in cases over the last two weeks, said a report.

 

Apart from the Prime Minister and senior officials of the Prime Minister's Office, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and officials from their respective Ministries are likely to attend the virtual meeting, reported news agency ANI.

 

A meeting to discuss the Covid situation in the country has been convened at 12 pm on Wednesday, April 27 via video conferencing. The meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi," sources quoted by news agency ANI said.

 

Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan will be making a presentation on the present situation of COVID, the extent of vaccination, especially the booster drive and the trajectory of cases in certain states, the news reported quoting sources.

 

Amid the rise in Covid cases, the wearing of masks has once again been made compulsory in some cities. Whereas a rupee 500 fine has been imposed in Delhi for violating the Covid rules.

 

Earlier, PM Modi has held several meetings with the CMs, and even District Magistrates, to understand the situation on the ground.
