PM will discuss the second-leg budget with other ministers in parliament

On March 14, 2023, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, held a meeting with other top ministers in the parliament, including the Union Minister of coal Parlhad Joshi, commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal, and justice kiren Rijiju, the union minister of law. 

 

The Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur, will be present in the parliament, along with the Union Minister of road transport and highways, Nitin Gadkari, and the union agriculture minister, Narendra Singh Tomar in the parliament.

 

The second leg of the budget was issued on Monday after a month's break, and when Piyush Goyal sought an apology from Rahul Gandhi over his statement in London about the freedom in the country, the budget session will continue until April 6.

 

The PM Modi met with the ministers on Monday to formulate the strategy supported by the Congress MPs under the chairmanship of their party president Mallikarjun Kharge.

 

The Congress Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members also presented in the meeting, along with Sonia Gandhi and West Bengal Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
