Pollution rising, need your help to bring it down: Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal also implemented "red light on, gaadi off" to minimise the pollution level in Delhi.


The national capital is witnessing an incessant rise in the pollution level, whereas the air quality has recently dropped from moderate to poor category in Delhi. Whereas Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has implemented several plans and initiatives to stop the spread of pollution in the city. Meanwhile, he also implemented "red light on, gaadi off" to minimise the pollution level in the city.

On Tuesday, the CM also appealed to the citizens via video conferencing he said, "Air pollution has been slowly increasing for the last three to four days. One of the main reasons is that stubble burning has started in the neighbouring state where governments have failed in helping farmers in this regard. We can get a clear picture of that through Nasa images… Last week, we presented a 10 point action plan.  Today, I seek your help in reducing the air pollution in a personal capacity. " said the CM.

The Chief Minister has also set up smog towers in the centre of the city to stop the pollution.
