On Monday, 23 January 2023, President Droupadi Murmu will award the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2023 to 11 mind blowing children.
On Tuesday, there will be an interaction between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the awardees.
In addition, Smriti Zubin Irani who is the Minister of Women and Child Development, will interact with the children and give them best wishes in the presence of Munjpara Mahendrabhai, the Minister of State for Women and Child Development.
PMRBP will award medals and cash prizes of Rs. 1 lakh.
Certificates will also be given to six boys and five girls from 11 states and UTs.
The Union government awarded the PMRBP award to children for their exceptional achievements. This award recognises excellence in six categories for children aged 5-18, including art and culture, courage, innovation, academic performance, social service, and sports.
A total of 11 children from all over the country will receive the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar this year for their exceptional achievements in the areas of art and culture (4), bravery (1), innovation (2), social service (1), and sports (3).
