President Ram Nath Kovind complains of chest discomfort

The hospital said that President Ram Nath Kovind is under observation and his condition is stable.


President Ram Nath Kovind complained of chest discomfort on Friday morning after which he visited the Army's Research and Referral Hospital in New Delhi, the military hospital said in a statement. The hospital added that Mr Kovind is under observation and his condition is stable.

“He is undergoing routine check-up and is under observation. His condition is stable,” the Army Hospital stated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Office (PMO) tweeted that PM Modi had inquired about the health condition of the President from his son and also prayed for his well-being. "PM @narendramodi spoke to Rashtrapati Ji's son. He enquired about the President's health and prayed for his well-being," PMO tweeted.
