President’s Address To Be Boycotted By 16 Opposition Party: Azad

16 opposition party to boycott president’s address tomorrow at the Parliament


Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday that the President’s address to the joint sitting of the Parliament over the three controversial farm laws will be boycotted by at least 16 opposition parties. He stated “We are issuing a statement from 16 political parties and we are boycotting the President’s Address that will be delivered on the Parliament tomorrow. The major reason behind this decision is that the Bills (Farm Laws) were passed forcibly in the House, without Opposition.”

The 16 parties of the opposition that will boycott the address are Congress, NCP, National Conference, DMK, Shiv Sena, Trinamool, SP, RJD, CPI(M), CPI, Muslim League, RSP, PDP, MDMK, AIUDF, Kerela Congress(M). All these parties are demanding the farm laws introduced by the farmers to be repealed.
