Pune civic body launches" Vaccine on Wheel" drive

Vaccine on wheel drive is running for the medical patients who cant move outside


"Vaccine on wheel" drive is an initiative started by the pune civic body whose main aim is to inoculate the people who are living in the housing areas or societies of the district.


 

As per the statement given by Mayor Murlidhar Mohol, Pune Municipal  Corporation on Thursday said, " we'll launch a vaccine on wheel drive to inoculate people in housing societies.  Societies have to connect their ward medical officer to hold vaccination drives at their premises." Adding more, the Mayor said, "vaccines on wheels helped us to run easy vaccination for slums, students who were going to foreign countries, senior citizens...No section of society should be left where vaccination does not reach ." 


 

Whereas India touched the peak of inoculating 100 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccination in the country. For which a film, as well as a song, is also to launch. As per the information given by the Ministry of Health and family welfare, it said a total of 100 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far to eligible beneficiaries. 


 

As per the information many more states are running with their vaccination camp to touch the historic moment. The Covid-19 pandemic was harsh, many suffered and lost their loved ones during the peak of the deadly virus. Several states witnessed an oxygen crisis, insufficient beds, medicines and other medical resources. 


Meanwhile, Maharashtra was among the worst-hit states. The state witnessed an incessant rise in the Covid-19 cases after which now the lockdown process is easing in the state. Today, cinema halls, theatres and malls are about to reopen in the state with a 50 per cent seating capacity.
