Pushkar Singh Dhami To Be Sworn-In As Uttarakhand CM

PM Modi And Amit Shah To attend the ceremony!


After the Uttarakhand Assembly Elections, the poll-bound state, which attracts several tourists, will be led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). 

 

 Pushkar Singh Dhami will be sworn as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand today. During this ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Home Minister Amit Shah will be present today during this ceremony.

 

Pushkar Singh Dhami for the second term today (March 23, 2022) at a grand ceremony that will be held at the Parade Ground in Dehradun in the presence of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) top brass, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah.

 

The oath-taking ceremony of the 12th chief minister of the hill state is scheduled to take place at 2.30 pm.

 

As per the information, many other party leaders and members including the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP president JP Nadda, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Dhami's Himachal Pradesh counterpart Jai Ram Thakur will be present today during the ceremony.

 

Renowned social workers, litterateur, writers, and seers of temples and mutts have also been invited.

 

According to the statement, the party said it is expecting a participation of “40-50 thousand” people. Whereas, “Small poojas have also been organized at worker shakti kendras by workers before arriving at the (oath ceremony) venue,” Uttarakhand BJP media in-charge Manveer Chauhan said.

 

The BJP, notably, won the popular mandate for the second consecutive term in Uttarakhand and bagged 47 seats in the 70-member assembly.
