R-Day parade and tractor rally pose difficulties

Republic Day Parade and Tractor rally have cops on tenterhooks

On this auspicious occasion of Republic Day 2021, Delhi Police has to be more vigilant and cautious than ever. The strong forces of national security and farmers' protests have risen apprehensions of havoc. The end Republic Day's parade will not end in lowering of security or alert. It will head from noon and end around evening at the starting point in the parade.

The farmers' protests have entered third month, but there's no sign of a breakage of deadlock between farmers unions and government even after eleven rounds of negotiations. Both parties stand firm on their demands. Farmers want nothing less than complete repeal of laws while the government is ready to make some amends but the proposal has been rejected by farmers.
