Junior doctor commit suicide in Telangana...
A junior medical student of Kakatiya Medical Collaboration in Warangal district of Telangana was admitted to the Nizam's institute of medical science of Hyderabad on 22 February following a suicide suspected ragging died at 9:10 on Sunday night.
As per the statement shared by the NIMS, the declared the student identified as Dr. Preethi dead after continuous efforts of multidisciplinary team by the specialist doctors.
Following the incident the Warangal police commissioner, AV Ranganath mentioned that the junior doctor allegedly killed herself by self-administering some injections.
He further mentioned that on 24 February they had arrested a second year medical student of MJM hospital suspected of ragging the victim as per the complaint registered by the victim's family booked under SC/ST Act and Anti ragging act.
The police is probing the matter and further details are awaited.
