Rahul Gandhi To Hold Virtual Rally In Uttarakhand

Virtual Campaign to take place in Haridwar and Haldwani


Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi will visit Poll Bound state Uttarakhand. he will be visiting Uttarakhand today (Saturday).

 

His visit comes Ahead of the Uttarakhand assembly elections, the poll-bound states are gearing up with all preparations, and the political leaders are paying their visit to come in power.


According to the information given By the Congress in charge of Devender Yadav, He said that Rahul Gandhi will hold a virtual campaign in Haridwar and Haldwani Assembly seats.


According to the statement given by the State Congress general secretary (organisation) Mathura Dutt Joshi, “Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to reach Kiccha in Udham Singh Nagar at 11 am and address party members of all 70 assembly segments.

 

At 1 pm, he is scheduled to reach Haridwar and will hold another meeting. The locations in each of the 70 constituencies will be separate for the two virtual rallies.” adding more he will also perform Ganga Arti in Haridwar at 6 pm.


On Wednesday, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was seen visiting Uttarakhand ahead of Elections 2022.

 

She went to release the manifesto of congress for the Uttarakhand elections. As per the details, the manifesto promised to reserve 40 percent jobs for women in the police department, jobs to Four lakh people, and the creation of a tourism police force.

 

Also, she promised to provide Liquified petroleum gas (LPG) at rupees 500 and 40 percent government jobs to women on priority if the state comes into Power.


Uttarakhand elections will begin its poll on February 14 and the counting of votes will take place on March 10.
