IMD predict light to moderate rain...
On 1 March 2023, the Regional Meteorological Department (RMD), Chennai of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predict a light to moderate rainfall in the southern part of Tamil Nadu from 1 March to 4 March.
As per the weather report by the department, the lower tropospheric level of easterlies and north- easterlies prevail would bring light to moderate rain over the South Tamil Nadu.
However, a dry climate will also be seen over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Karaikal area during these days.
The department also mentioned that the sky condition is likely to be partially cloudy and the maximum temperature is likely to be around 34 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 22 to 23 degree Celsius.
Earlier on Tuesday, the department has forecast light to moderate rain over Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Sivaganga, Toothukudi and Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu and Karaikal area during the next one to three hours.
