Rajasthan: 11 killed as cruiser collides with truck in Nagaur; PM Modi expresses grief

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 2 lakh to the kin of the deceased.


On Tuesday, a road accident occurred in Rajasthan where 11 people died. As per the details, the accident was reported from Nagaur when a cruiser collided with a truck. Seven people were injured in the accident and the wounded were taken to hospital in Bikaner's Nokha for treatment, Shri Balaji Police Station SHO said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief for the people who lost their lives in the accident and expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased. He wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 2 lakh to the kin of 11 persons from Ujjain who died in the road accident in Nagaur. In addition, the state govt will bear the entire cost of treatment for the injured ones.
