New Year Gift: Lower LPG Rates for Ujjwala Beneficiaries in Rajasthan

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma fulfilled the BJP's election commitment by declaring that the state government will supply LPG cylinders to Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries at Rs 450 starting January 1.

At present, Ujjwala beneficiaries in the state receive domestic gas cylinders at Rs 500. The Chief Minister disclosed this information during a public event in Tonk.

In a post on X, Mr. Sharma stated, "Drawing inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's inclusive mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,' the Rajasthan Government, committed to good governance, has taken a historic step to offer gas cylinders at Rs 450 to every BPL and Ujjwala scheme beneficiary family in the state." He emphasized, "Modi ji's guarantee is a commitment that will be honored."

During the Tonk program, Mr. Sharma conveyed that the cylinders would be provided at Rs 450, with the subsidy being shouldered by the state government.

He mentioned that the sum would be directly deposited into the beneficiary's bank account.

"We are dedicated to serving the people of Rajasthan based on our manifesto," he affirmed.

Mr. Sharma emphasized that women's safety is a top priority for the state government and issued a warning to criminals, urging them to refrain from unlawful activities under the BJP rule.

The Chief Minister also announced that the scams from the previous Congress government, including paper leak cases, will undergo thorough investigation.

The state government has established a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into paper leak cases and introduced an Anti-Gangster Task Force led by a senior official with the rank of ADG.
