Rajasthan schools reopen for classes 6 to 8

Classes 1 to 5 will resume from 27th September with 50 per cent capacity.


Schools and colleges across the country are gradually reopening as educational institutions had been closed for the last two years. The education system was hampered badly during the pandemic.

The schools in Rajasthan will reopen for classes 6 to 8 from September 20. A fresh guideline has been issued by the Rajasthan Government. Talking about classes 1 to 5, they will resume from September 27 with 50 per cent capacity. As per the guidelines, the morning assembly prayer and opening of the school's canteen are not permitted.

The night curfew in the state will remain in place from 11 pm to 5 am. 200 guests can participate in weddings and other marriage related functions. Government and private offices will run with full capacity and cinema halls will also operate with 100 per cent capacity. Meanwhile, the yoga centers and gyms will be open from 6 am to 10 pm with the condition that people should be vaccinated with at least one dose.

Meanwhile, Haryana, Jharkhand and many more places will reopen schools for its junior classes from September 20.
