Rajasthan to reopen schools and education institutions from August 2: Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dostara


On Thursday, The Rajasthan Cabinet gave its -in-principle approval for the reopening of schools and other educational institutions in the state. Rajasthan Education Minister, Govind Singh Dostara, tweeted "In the Cabinet meeting held today, it has been decided to open all the schools of the state from August 02."

Meanwhile,  few states have also opened educational classes for senior students from classes 9 to 12. Gurgaon has reopened its school for classes 9 to 12. Haryana Chief Minister took this decision after the state witnessed a decrease in Covid-19 cases in the state.

Rajasthan witnessed a decrease in Covid-19 cases in the state. On Thursday, it recorded 25 fresh Covid-19 cases and one death with an overall tally of 9,53, 462 and a death toll of 8,952.
