Rajinikanth decides not to enter politics due to health issues

Rajinikanth has put an end to his decision of starting his own political party.

Superstar Rajinikanth, 70 has announced that he will not start his own political party due to health issues. His statement came two days after being discharged from the hospital as he was admitted due to blood pressure fluctuations. Earlier this year he had announced that he would start his own political party and regarding this he had said on December 3, "It is now or never."

Rajinikanth said in a statement,"I see this as a warning given to me by the Lord. If I campaigned only through the media and social media after I started the party, I would not be able to create the political upheaval among people and win big in the elections. No one with political experience will deny this reality." He further added, "This decision of mine will disappoint my fans and people but please forgive me. I will serve the people without entering electoral politics."

Rajinikanth underwent a kidney transplant recently and after the blood pressure fluctuation he considered it as a warning sign of God and decided not to start the new venture.
