Ranveer Singh Takes On Don 3

Promises His Best...

Ranveer Singh is getting ready to play the lead in Farhan Akhtar's famous Don series. However, many people have doubts about him being the right choice for Don 3.

Ranveer Singh faced trolling from fans when he replaced Shah Rukh Khan in the Don franchise. At the recent Red Sea Film Festival, he responded to the criticism, stating that he'll "give it his best shot."

Ranveer expressed, "I’m aiming to bring my own touch and interpretation to Don. It's a significant passing of the baton in one of Hindi cinema's cherished franchises. I understand the skepticism that came with the announcement, but such transitions have occurred in cinema history. Even when Daniel Craig was revealed as the new Bond, skepticism followed. It's a natural part of the process."

"Moving ahead with this franchise and carrying on the legacy of two of our greatest superstars – I fully grasp the importance of that. I'm committed to giving it my all, and you can expect nothing less than my very best. I'll undoubtedly put my best foot forward for Don."

Don 3 also signals Farhan's comeback as the director of the franchise. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment, the movie is set to hit the screens in 2025.

Farhan directed the first installment of Don in 2006, followed by the second in 2011. Both films starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, and Om Puri in the lead roles.
