Rape Cases Reduced By Half During Yogi Adityanath's Tenure In UP: Amit Shah

On Friday, Union Home Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah said, in five years of the party's rule in Uttar Pradesh incidence of rape has gone down by 50 percent.



Day after another mishaps and rapes take place, every minute one or the other women is being tortured or assaulted in terms of domestic violence or something else.  Ahead of the assembly polls, the Uttar Pradesh will go for the fifth phase of polling on February 27. 



Addressing a public rally in Pratapgarh's Rampur Khas area, Amit Shah claimed Yogi Adityanath's government ended the "mafia" raj in the state bringing down the number of violent crimes substantially.



Further, Home Minister said," Dacoity reduced by 72 percent, loot went down by 62 percent, murders by 31 percent, kidnapping by 29 percent, while rape cases went down by 50 percent. This has been done by the BJP government.



He also talked about other key benefits of the BJPGovernment, also claimed that the BJP-led central government provided free ration for two years to people during the pandemic, while Yogi Adityanath bolstered the effort by providing them with lentil, oil, and salt.



Uttar Pradesh is under seven phases of polling for which four-phase polling has been completed and Pratapgarh is all set to go for polling on February 27 during the fifth phase of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and the Election results will be declared on March 10.
