Royal Challengers Bangalore Victory Against Mumbai Indians!


The battle between Hearty Mumbaikers and Bangalore Royals was worth
remembering as it pushed the fans on edge of their seats when all were stumbling
with party poppers in their hands to celebrate victory of their favorites. However,
the luck resided on RCB 's side but both teams pulled up their level best from the
very start of the match which even resulted in a Super Over and filled a lot more of
anxiety, excitement and vigor among the fans.
MI won the toss and chose to bowl the field. It was a tough tussle but Challengers
played incredibly well and gave a difficult target of 202 at the loss of 3 wickets.
AB De Villiers ignited the craze among fans with a remarkable fifty off 23 balls
and swayed the ground with his excellence. MI started a bit slow in the second
innings but soon Kieron Pollard and Ishan Kishan spread the Mumbai blues in the
field with an amazing partnership that lasted till the last trembling over. The match
really shook some sensitive nerves yesterday.
In the last over Kishan played flawlessly amazing which reinstated the will in MI's
fans and scored a quick blaster 99 but was dismissed by Udana on second last ball
of the innings leaving the fans dejected. The falling castle was rebuilt by Pollard
who tied with a four off the last ball equalizing the score to 201 at the loss of 5
wickets. In the 202 run chase Pollard hammered 60 off 24 balls. The hysteria
among the fans was quite justified on advent of super over.
The Super over stunned the supporters as Pollard and Pandya settled a low target
of 7 runs for Bangalore. And as the fans expected Villiers and Kohli chased the
target of 8 runs beautifully and ended the match with a graceful four off the last
ball. The limelight was stolen by a meritorious victory of Challengers. The
captains appreciated the competition in the game and the dilemma that sustained
till the last minute. Gear up for another interesting match tonight between Delhi
