Actress Rhea Chakraborty was charged with drug dealing case and was granted bail after a month in jail.

The Bombay High Court released all the pressed charges against the actress Rhea Chakraborty, by granting her bail. The actress who was reported to be dating the former actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was found dead in his house on 13^th June. And after a month the actor's father filed a FIR against her, and later the case was handed over to CBI who further involved the narcotics department in it as the case tangled along and what’s up chats were released of the actress asking for drugs.

Then after months of investigation the Narcotics department pressed charges against the actress and her younger brother for drug dealing, and after spending a month in jail she went for the trial and was released.The Court further said there are no other criminal antecedents against the 28 year as she was not found selling any drugs to anyone else in return of money, so there is possibly no reason for charging her against anything.Along with there was no amount of commercial drugs found in the house of Rhea Chakraborty or Sushant Singh Rajput in the process of investigation so nothing was held between.

The judge disagreed that celebrities and role models should be treated harshly so that it sets an example for the young generation and they do not get encouraged to commit such offences. "I do not agree. Everybody is equal before law. No celebrity or role model enjoys any special privilege before the Court of law. Similarly, such a person also does not incur any special liability when he faces law in the Courts. Each case will have to be decided on its own merits irrespective of the status of the accused."
