ROB under Ministry of I&B team launches vaccine awareness campaign in Chandigarh

The flagging service of the mobile van was done by Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor and Maheshinder Sidhu, Senior Deputy Mayor from Kendriya Sadan, Chandigarh.

On Monday the Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB), of Chandigarh under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting took the initiative in introducing a five-day mobile awareness campaign for the people of  Chandigarh in getting aware of the vaccine. The awareness campaign was started with lead Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, and Maheshinder Sidhu, Senior Deputy Mayor who did the ceremony of flagging of the mobile van from Kendriya Sadan, Chandigarh.Meanwhile, he also visited the conference hall in Kendriya Sadan where a one-day free vaccination was arranged in the camp by the Regional Outreach Bureau, Chandigarh in collaboration with the UT Health Department.

From July 12 to July 16, a five-day mobile awareness campaign is arranged, The van aims to get awareness of the vaccine in the rural areas and colonies along with various sectors in the city. In addition, a special drama was also organized at Sukhna Lake on Monday evening where, Director General (ADG), Chandigarh Region, Devpreet Singh, and other officials were presented.
