This development in the case came a day after the Central government informed the Parliament that the farmers tractor parade in the national capital on January 26 had indulged in rioting ‘aggressively’ , vandalizing public property and using ‘criminal force’ against public servants. To stop the rioting crowd the Delhi police had no option left but use tear gas, water cannons and mild force.
